SHDA, led by President Kerwin Padua and Corporate Secretary Atty. Mena Ojeda, Jr., formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HCG, led by its Chairman Patrick Chiu, President Eugene Lin, and Vice President Romuald Ponce, recognizing the mutual benefits of a partnership that will enhance product access, service efficiency, and industry support for affordable housing development. ![]()

The MOU was also witnessed by SHDA Executive Director Santiago Ducay and Strategic Associate Kim Berberabe. Also, HCG Senior Manager Malou Elbo, HCG Senior Sales Supervisor Apollo Catis, HCG Sales Supervisors Sarah Sulit, Aaron Tongio, and Laurence Iglesias were also present during this momentous occasion.![]()

With the signing of the MOU, HCG Philippines is committed to providing bathroom products tailored to the specific parameters, pricing, and requirements of the economic, socialized housing, and 4PH Housing Program of the Government. Included in the agreement is a modest rebate mechanism with proceeds intended to support SHDA’s activities and advocacies, and prioritize SHDA members in the delivery of services and support, timely deliveries, and post-purchase services such as technical assistance, product demonstrations, and warranties.![]()

This understanding between SHDA and HCG Philippines solidifies the continuing partnership of the two organizations for a more vibrant housing industry in the Philippines.![]()
