𝐒𝐇𝐃𝐀 𝐈𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
SHDA Officers, led by Chairman of the Board Engr. Francis Richmond Villegas, National President Mr. Kerwin Padua, 1st Vice President Atty. Marianne Reyna Lina-Cruz, Executive Director Santiago Ducay, and Strategic Associate Kim Berberabe, actively participated in the SHDA Kapihan and Regional Visit with Business Partners – Central Visayas on July 29, 2026, at the Cebu City Sports Club, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
In his Welcome Address and Overview, SHDA Central Visayas Chapter President Mr. Ken Salimbangon acknowledged the importance of holding Kapihans to keep housing developers informed about recent policies, issues and concerns, and other updates in the housing industry. Also during the event, 1st VP Atty. Marianne Reyna Lina-Cruz led the SHDA Officers in presenting SHDA's proposals and recommendations to further improve DHSUD's implementation of its regulatory issuances. SHDA Chairman Engr. Francis Richmond Villegas and National President Mr. Kerwin Padua also expressed SHDA's continuing efforts in partnering with DHSUD to address the country's housing needs. The officers also addressed questions from the regional developers present during the open forum.
The SHDA National Officers also invited the Central Visayas Chapter members and Kapihan participants to the forthcoming SHDA 2026 National Developers Convention on September 16–17, 2026, to be held at the Marquis Events Place, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.
Also present during the regional visit was Pag-IBIG Visayas Department Manager for Business Development, Mr. Cesar Bazan, who delivered HDMF updates.
