During the SHDA Kapihan Southern Mindanao in Davao City, Ms. Grace Camaganacan, Department Manager III of the Business Development Department - Mindanao of Pag-IBIG, shared the latest housing programs, financing options, incentives, and initiatives supporting the delivery of housing for Filipino families. The discussion also covered developments in housing processes, including efforts toward streamlined permitting and accreditation, updated socialized housing, and financing opportunities.

Engr. Ruby Rose Lora, Technical Assistant I, Zoning Enforcement Division of the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator (OCPDC), discussed Davao City’s planning and development direction, including the ongoing update of its Comprehensive Land Use Plan for 2028–2040, zoning and land use planning, climate- and disaster-informed development, and opportunities for private sector participation in the planning process.

The sessions gave attendees insights into housing programs, regulatory developments, and Davao City’s evolving planning framework relevant to the development of quality communities.

The 𝐒𝐇𝐃𝐀 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 - 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 gathered housing industry stakeholders in Davao City for a morning of updates and exchanges on regulatory and housing developments.

SHDA National President Mr. Kerwin Padua and Executive Director Santiago Ducay walked attendees through SHDA’s latest policy engagements, including initiatives related to permitting processes and support for responsive policies in the housing sector.

The discussion also touched on SHDA’s continuing engagement with government agencies and legislative bodies on proposed housing measures, as well as initiatives related to regulatory processes, stakeholder participation, and housing compliance.
